Looking for a way to spend some quality time with your human companion? Tired of walking the same route smelling the same old boring smells and meeting the same old dogs, barking that same old bark?

Silver Hill Technology Park

Then why not bring your human to Silver Hill Tech­nology Park on Sunday, September 12 at noon for the Mutt Strut to benefit the Humane Society of Wayne County?
Who: You! With or without your dog (shelter dogs will be available to walk)
What: An afternoon of social activities for both you and your dog with events and prizes. Lunch items available at additional cost.
Where: Silver Hill Technology Park, Route 88, Newark
When: Sunday, September 12 Rain or Shine
Why: To help support your local animal shelter and all of its furry friends!
How: Have family members, friends, coworkers, neighbors, relatives, classmates and anyone else you can think of sponsor you to participate in the Mutt Strut by making a donation to the HSWC. You will be eligible for some really great rewards!

  • Door prizes and surprises

Things to remember:

  • All dogs must have current vaccinations, in­cluding rabies
  • Please leave dogs in season home
  • Makesure your dog is social with other canines
  • Monitor your dog for head sensitivity at all times
  • All dogs must e on a leash at all times, and under control of the owner
  • Water for dogs will be supplied "community style"
  • Please be considerate and pick up after your dog

Registration is required and pre-registration is preferred. Register in person, at the shelter or at your vet's office. You may also download the registration form (PDF - 34K) and pledge form (PDF - 12K).
