Spring 2010 Volunteerism
Every Spring brings us wonderful volunteers who raise funds, tend booths at events and help tidy up the facility for the summer. This year is no different.
Paws for a Cause
The
walls of the shelter are papered with paw prints,
honoring
people and pets while supporting the HSWC.
United Way Day of Caring

National Bank). They freshened the paint in shelter's bathroom and
hallway as well as part of the dog barn.
United Way Donations:
Thanks to donor generosity during the fall campaign, 32 donors have
made 140 more adult companion adoptions possible.
Cat Condo
Ralph Dressler donated the price of a new cat condo. Dressler, who visits weekly to brush the cats, decided that they needed another place to play. Bandit and Luna certainly seem to enjoy it.
WOWEE Extravaganza
Special
thanks to all of the volunteers who manned the HSWC table at the WOWEE
Extravaganza. Working during the weekend were Damien Costanza, Dave
& Stephanie Cooper, Mark Plyter, Bette Blakeney & Jim Delmadge,
Marge Laws, Skip & Andi Meyer.
Ambassador Mick had the luxury of being located right next to the wolf poster, and greeted everyone with a smile.
